Powerwashing
stones with chemicals and under pressure risks greater damage and may
actually speed up the deterioration process. The above photo
shows where an entire cemetery was powerwashed and has removed the natural
patina and aging. Notice how there is no longer any detail or natural
highlights... it looks washed out!
